I love nothing more than getting lost in creating a new piece. Time melts and I find myself floating from one idea to the next. I allow my hands to do the thinking for me much of the time. I’m not sure where I get my ideas, but I often think perhaps I am channeling from a time when metal was used to show power and honor. I like to think this gift is proof that my life is just a continuation of generations of artisans who were not doing things just to make a buck. Their work was symbolic, and their signature was deeply imbedded through confident strokes of originality and ingenuity. I feel truly blessed to have a life style and a work space that permits an endless flow of experimentation and discovery.
